davelj, interesting that you differentiate likability from respect. I do as well, though not for dating purposes. I think you need to be both nice and confident. As CA renter points out, you may attract women by being solely confident, but probably not the kind I’m interested in. I like balance. I don’t have a Madonna/Whore complex and I certainly would like to avoid daddy issues in mates.
This thread as I originally intended was more about asking for ideas on how to meet more eligible women. Scaredycat, I do ok once I meet them. I just lack a pool from which to draw.
Everybody has their demons. I’m not a sociopath enough to not care what others think of me. On the other hand I’m enough of an adult to know who I am and what I’m interested in.
