For example, everyone likes to think they are the next Bill Gates, Eric S, Jerry Yang (though probably not recently). Very few actually are.
Also, a nice car is hardly an indication of true wealth. A good portion of americans lease cars, because it’s the only way to get into an expensive car for them.
