How is a stolen SSN a problem related to exclusively to illegal aliens????Heck, i’ve observed plenty of U.S. citizens that do a fine job trying to steal people’s SSN and credit cards.
Frankly, if you are concerned about a stolen SSN, it’s quite simple to thwart it…Enroll in a credit freeze with all three credit bureaus. It costs a one time $10 setup fee per bureau, and no way someone is going to pull your credit unless you “unfreeze” it. Plenty of safeguards are available, most people just don’t use it or are too lazy to do so.
