Comedy gold on this thread, and I appreciate how you’re willing to take the ribbing. Saw another thread where some lady got eviscerated by the Piggs and couldn’t handle it.
Anyways, to supplement a previous post about an appliance meter: look into getting a Kill-a-Watt (http://www.amazon.com/P3-International-P4400-Electricity-Monitor/dp/B00009MDBU/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1233179088&sr=8-1) for about $23 or so. You can use it to monitor how much your idle electronics are draining even when they are turned off. I plugged my tv, etc. into a power strip, then the power strip into the Kill-a-Watt. That way you don’t have to go with the Luddite option of shutting everything down just to see how much money you’ll save.
