I just finished with a remodel/addition. The price of lumber went up over 20% between May and September and everyone (plumber, roofer, painter, drywall hanger) is saying they have not been this busy since 2006-2007. A painter who did some work in September returned my calls after few days just to tell me that he would not have time for me until after the end of the year.
