I concur with this. SD probably never will get to the same level of cultural opportunities, emphasis on intellectualism, etc like NY. But if it does, it probably wouldn’t feel like SD anymore. I love the laid back atmosphere of SD and hate the hustle and bustle of NY. Also, if you’re like me and hate rain, snow, and humidity, your options are pretty limited.
