CAR and JP, you two miss read my post. I’m pro choice for cases where it would harm the mother. So, we are in agreement there. The cases I’m talking about is your average run of the mill abortion. I now understand why people are pro-life. If you view life is at the point of conception, then abortion = murder. It’s as simple as that. We punish parents for abusing their kids, yet we’re allow parents to kill their fetus? That’s how the pro-lifer views it.
I know death penalty and abortion are different topic. I know that there are pro lifer who are anti death penalty and pro choicer who are pro death penalty. I just find it funny when pro choicer are against death penalty and pro lifer who are pro death penalty.
Bringing this back to Ron Paul, he did say that although he’s against Roe v Wade, he believes the punishments should be determined by the states and not the federal government. So, you wouldn’t have to go to Mexico to have abortion, just states who have no punishment for it (CA/NY?).
