Which part… the shake tile mansard part that goes around the whole house… or the second story trailer looking roof?
Mansard roofs are supposed to evoke Paris… except in Paris they’re slate and on 3-5 story buildings. The way it was done here – (and on many houses in that development.. It’s a 70’s “look”. Like a lot of 70’s styles… it hasn’t held up well.
