It’s totally a personal choice and how you use it. Why increase tens of thousands of $ to the cost of the house if it doesn’t help everybody. Some people don’t use enough for solar to make sense right now. So, why force them to buy something they don’t need. The builder got it, which is why they haven’t done it on a wide scale.
