Ah, ok… so you left SD for financial and social reasons, but if the financial reasons get resolved (housing gets cheaper), perhaps you can put up with the other stuff and you’ll move back.
Personally, you couldn’t pay me to live in Kansas. Of course, you couldn’t pay me to live in much of the good ole USA. Most of the country is just too damn boring. But if you like it, that’s what’s important.
