I absolutely agree that both parties are to blame.
But there’s such thing as proportional liability, and I contend that Republicans are more at fault.

Brian: You crack me up. You’re like a dog with a bone. Or a badger.
Your comment above about proportional liability is akin to saying, “Yes, both Dems and Repubs set the house afire. It is now fully engulfed in flames. However, the Repubs set MORE of the house alight than the Dems”.
Given that the house is burning down, does it really matter? Shouldn’t putting the fire out be the major priority? At some point, it becomes the question of how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.
I don’t bear any animus towards Obama and had a few minutes of hope that he’d be somewhat or somehow different from all of the other lying shitbags that hold public office. He isn’t. If he doesn’t focus on JOBS and tax reform and right now, come 2012 he’s toast. It really is that simple and all of the talk about which party is more responsible doesn’t mean shit to those families that cannot pay their bills, or cover their mortgage, or are dealing with a primary breadwinner out of work. We are looking catastrophe in the face and anyone not willing to confront THAT reality and have an adult conversation about saving our Goddamn country is an asshole.
