Bill Bonner of The Daily Reckoning puts it closer to 5,000:

So far, this guy has been right on target, along with the guys over at Elliot Wave and Minyanville. I don’t think we’re through the woods yet, I expect we’ll reach and breach 8,000 before the end of next week.
