Biker’s suggestion that this is a freedom of speech issue is misplaced.
No one disputes Powayseller’s right to hold the opinion she holds, or express it. We are not trying to prevent her speech, we are saying that a more appreciated forum for her speech would be her own blog.
In China, there might not be a blog at all, or some(many) people might be denied access. Suggesting a more appropriate forum is hardly comparable to such measures. In the end, all that’s been written here is a mere suggestion. Powayseller can continue to post as much and as often as she wants, as long as Rich’s blog is around. However, the users can also debate about what they want the user forum to be used for, and complain if they don’t like the way someone is using it. I would like to see it be more community oriented and less dominated by one person’s voice.
