Assuming 125mph is a full time employee and not contracting, I suspect 125mph is either
1) managing/directing a group
2) an architect
3) and/or is a security specialist
4) or works for Broadcom that is stealing away qualcomm employees left and right with things like double promotions.
But it's just a guess. Irrespective, it's a pretty remarkable achievement at 29…Kudos to you 125mph….
I smell a sports car behind the id….Yes/no, 125mph 🙂
That's it, I need to talk to my boss after the holidays. Oh, wait I really would have to do more work…Grrr… But seriously, thanks for the datapoint. I really wanted to figure out what people are seeing out here. I heard a lot of people gripping about salaries being low here. And I sort of gripe just in general regardless of how much I would actually be paid. But I have a sneaking feeling, it's not as bad as people make it out to be (at least when the employers tell you it's "lower" ).
The only gripe I had with San Diego is that it seems in many places your value was more determined by your odometer than by your speedometer, unlike the Bay Area. But now that I'm soon to be approaching an old fart mid 30ies, I'm not complaining either.
