Interesting articles. I think though the world theater is though waiting for the collapse of GM/Ford so that it can pick up parts of the company rather than deal with the whole.
I’m not surprised about some of the companies in asia interested. GM asia isn’t quite the same as GM here..Some of the designs coming out in GM asia and europe are much better than here.
Buick for example in China is psuedo-luxury, and GM was smart enough to have established factories there long time ago. I’m guessing companies like SAIC and Cherry Automotive would be interested in snatching some things up from GM/Ford, like engine/drivetrain technologies,etc.
Coming soon to a theater near you: Corvette’s, Mustang’s, Challenger’s, Viper’s, with a Made in China label..Sad or with a Toyota label.
