But you see them voting mainstream GOP? C’mon, Arraya. People of this stripe are pretty much flat out fascists, hence their fetishization of all things Nazi and their love of old Adolf.
Yes, they are Rightist, but not in the sense that “right-wing” is. If you want to make that connection, then you’ll have to go ALL the way out on the Loony Left and tie them back into the Democratic Party.
In terms of extremism, however, you do make the point that both parties have reactionary and extremist elements, and these elements are now exerting an ugly influence.
While we’re out on the fringes, it would be interesting to try and connect the Anarchism of Kropotkin, Berkman or “Red Emma” to the libertarianism of, say, Ron Paul.
