I admit the anti-china apple juice is more out of my paranoia than probably warranted. But in practice, I do try to buy what is made here whenever possible, just because symbolically I feel it supports domestic jobs and domestic companies (though increasingly, it's getting harder). Apple juice is as American as juice can get. I wouldn't buy it from China, just like I wouldn't buy an American flag that was made in China. Likewise, tree top or martinelli's that come in the big 2 gallon combo pack is made in good ole USA (for now) and doesn't cost that much more than the other brands.
And I definitely wouldn't buy frozen seafood from China. There was a couple of articles of how some companies in China keep frozen seafood in vats of mercury.
