anx I think that a very large percentage of licensees already have/had jobs in many other sectors. For instance I have done a deal with a Century 21 agent who is and has been a dj on rock 105.3 for ages and ages… I know bartenders, waitresses, engineers, hair stylists, and countless other people who are licensed. Most of them do not practice and are not employed by a broker… some of them are. My point is that they already have employment elsewhere and it has been that way for a long time. For mortgage brokers, I am not so sure.
I assume your question is with regards to the full time 100% no other career licensed agent. I would imagine they will move to another career.
Hey if the recession is as big as people think it is going to be, there will be plenty of career changes that will be happening for lots of people.
