An arbitrary limitation based on color/sex/shoe size/penis/vagina/hairyness, and endorsed by the government.
What a particular society accepts has nothing to do with what’s “right”. It’s not objective. It’s just culture. There always will be limitations of liberty that some people will see as unfair. The only question is, how many people will share that view. When the number of those people reaches a critical mass the cultural change will happen.
Personally I am against the gay marriage, because I think American families should focus on having as many children as possible.
