To the extent that both Natural Law and his faith make abortion a moral evil, Biden, Ted Kennedy and the rest are “forbidden to promote for the public good that which is morally indefensible” (Pope Leo XIII). Of course Jack Kennedy didn’t even have such issues to contemplate and so such concerns regarding his faith was indeed laughable.
