I’m not familiar with Canada’s healthcare system, so I’d never suggest it was perfect. I have a Canadian friend who benefits from it, however, so I do know it’s working, perfect or not. Most importantly, it’s better than nothing. At least all Canadians have some form of medical coverage; here in the states, we do not.

I beg to differ. You want to become fat and lazy, as I’m sure you have…while other people less fortunate than yourself, oftentimes and through no fault of their own (e.g. mentally ill) suffer. Nice caring attitude there. Good luck with that.

I’ll reference a couple off the top of my head: welfare and WIC. Although I’ll admit, it’s often abused by mothers who want to use the system and avoid employment, the program STILL puts food on the table for the offspring of these mothers. That makes it worth it.
Do you even know what WIC is? Do you even care? I’ll bet the farm for someone like you, the answer will be a resounding “NO”. Nevertheless, WIC provides pregnant mothers and then their babies (up until five years of age) with nutritious food.

Although Bush was/is very stupid, it’s a known fact that the middle class and poor do much better with a democratic president and controlled congress. As previously stated, I think people are just tired of the greed. That comes with any Repub president.

I would disagree with that. I would hesitate to define you as an Uncle Tom if you were black, just a greedy soul, devoid of a conscious. That perception is formed from your many posts on the subject of politics specifically the people’s responsibility to it’s fellow citizens.
