first, learn to spell – asking for advice about developing competency in an industry might produce better results if you spelled ‘competency’ correctly, but I admit to being anal-retentive about such things
with that said, it seems you are talking about two different things: 1) how to become REIC-slime; and 2) how to become an RE entrepreneur
if you want to become REIC-slime you need to follow the traditional education path and obtain the certifications, degrees, licenses, etc – good luck to you but I wonder why you would want to enter an industry that is in the process of being decimated
if you are interested in making your fortune in RE, start reading – IMO everything in life starts with education and there is a wealth of information available at your local library and online – read everything you can find about RE – Robert Allen’s “Nothing Down” may not seem relevant to today’s markets but you may find a nugget in that book that helps you make your first million (or your tenth!)
