Actually school district boundaries can change quite often. There is a community in Encinitas on the the South Carlsbad border called Bridgewater they got bounced around a couple years in a row between El Camino Creek and Flora Vista (both exceptional schools) in the last 10 years. The same thing happened to Mar Brisa (switching between Aviara Oaks and Pacific Rim) near but not in Aviara.
Stick with the school district websites and verify the boundaries by phone or in person before you make a decision based upon information on a website.
