Actually I think it is terribly difficult to find a home you love. I see many homes that are 7 figures and I wouldn’t like them if they were 500k. Getting a deal is easy. Finding the home you love is really hard.
Now I will also say in the same breathe that there will ALWAYS be a home that will come on the market that you will love. However, it may not be for quite awhile. The very selective homebuyer may see 1 or 2 homes a year that they really love. This advice is only as important to the homebuyer as the homebuyer wants it to be. Some buyers have a much higher priority on buying at market bottom which is perfectly fine.
However I have to agree that the what and where is harder then the when. Don’t confuse this with an endorsement to buy now.
