kpbs had a story the other day about la nina. el nino and la nina technically have to do with ocean temperatures in various regions… and apparently we’re in a la nina. This translates to colder, wetter winter, and dryer spring/summer in 2011. Potential for fire issues. At least that’s what I think I remember hearing.
