just pay a handyman to repaint your door. If you’re not willing to strip it yourself, you’re not really going to save much money DIY painting it. There’s an old saying that painting anything (particularly automotive painting) is about 4x effort to prep, and 1x effort to paint. The better you prep, the better the outcome is. The stripping/sanding/filling etc is the hard part. Putting paint on the surface is the easy part.
