I don’t know if I’d call them “New Years Resolutions” so much as overall goals, since I have no real attachment to the calendar year as a period of performance, but…
1) Switch to a more interesting program at work
2) Break a certain income target next raise period (I doubt anybody really cares what it is, so I’ll elide it)
3) Climb more often
4) Hike a lot
5) Shoot a lot more often
6) Run at least 10-15 miles a week
7) Start reloading
Have you thought about joining the Army? Back when I was in Rangers, we had a very similar program. Of course, it also involved people shooting back at you, but the rappelling, parachuting and scuba work was an added bonus.
Something to think about.
On a more serious note, I’ve started reloading again myself and I will tell you that acquiring certain components, especially brass, has gotten more difficult and more expensive. I’m not shooting anything out the ordinary, in terms of calibers, and even 9mm and .45ACP have gotten more expensive.
