Why this area is also expensive? – it is not Carmel valley neither 4s Ranch, but the housing and the plans are very high. There is one “west view high school” there. Is this high school main reason the housing so expensive?. Also there is considerable melorose for all those houses that were buitl in 2002 onwards I believe.[/quote]
The area is pretty nice (albeit remote). Westview and Torrey Pines High alternate in who’s on top of the other in San Diego yearly. Relatively speaking your money goes further in this area versus say Carmel Valley. I think something in CV at 2500sqft will cost about the same as something 3000sqft+ in this area. San Lorenza is a smaller community. The only drawback is the Intuit building, but you aren’t right next to it. There is still another lot for with Kilroy Realty has not built office buildings. So this area could look more crowded eventually. However, given the state of commercial real estate, I doubt Kilroy will be breaking ground anytime soon :)…But neighbors that buy into this area probably should plan on more commercial complexes in the future (I know a few folks that bought right next those Intuit buildings before the Intuit buildings went up…They weren’t too pleased after they found out how large those building were going to be)….Also, there is section 8 housing around the area (forget exactly where), if that bothers people.
