Rus and SD Realtor: Thanks so much for asking after us. We are doing fine. The fire moved north and east of us, but it came within approx 1 mile of the house (you could see the glow from the top of our driveway), and then the winds shifted.
I want to say that the response of the firefighters, Sheriffs and SDG&E has been simply amazing. My wife spoke with some firefighters at the local grocery store all the way from Napa to help out. These guys are true heroes, and the efforts they made to save homes and property was incredible.
Again, thanks for your concern and my prayers are with those still in harm’s way.
