Is it that surprising that there are “really cheap” housing units in the current foreclosure capital of the nation?
Guess what, these units are going to get “really cheaper”
I don’t think you are going to find any housing blog laid out as well as this site. However, you can show him some links of what’s going on in Denver and hope it has an effect on him.
Try this whole section of the Denver post: http://www.denverpost.com/foreclosures
Also, you could check out Ben’s blog. He combs media articles daily, usually focusing on one topic or geographical area in each topic. I’ve seen many posts about Colorado. http://thehousingbubbleblog.com/

I haven’t found a blog like piggington’s around Denver. This is the blog I usually read, but it is a realtor’s blog and they tend to be somewhat bullish on real estate.

There is, of course, a huge amount of foreclosures around Denver. However, multi-units are and have been heating up in price.
