On Saturday evenings. It follows buyers who shop for their first home. The first show was quite ridiculous, some naive fools bought some overpriced piece of crap for $750k on an interest only loan.
Then they were laughing about how they know nothing about buying a house etc. Since when is ignorance something to be proud of? There is so much information out there yet these idiots seem to shrug that they don’t know anything and the realtor/mortgage “consultant” seem to be pawning off interest only loans with some BS. And get this, the husband is a Phd student at Stanford U.!!! I didn’t know Stanford Phds could be so dumb!
2nd couple featured were some dumb ignoramuses from Seattle. No savings, 0 down and overleveraged with 2 new cars, buying on interest only again. Then shopping for furnishings on the credit cards of course! Supposedly 100k household income, wife is a fashion designer, husband a musician/truck driver. 100k income and no savings? That’s a HUGE red flag right there!!!
The only significant thing that has changed since we bought our home is that I am now pregnant! We are frantically transforming our guest room into the baby’s room, and the condo, which seemed so big and roomy when we bought it, is now starting to feel tiny!
