Boat listings on Craig’s List for San Diego have really jumped in the last two weeks. Previously, there were ~30 new listings per day. It’s now up to 100+ per day.
I am a craigslist junkie and I look at the boat section often, and I have noticed that boats have increased substantially. One could argue that summer is approaching and that people sell boats this time of the year because of that.
However, I looked at boats last year at this exact time and distinctly remember that there was no significant change in the amount of listings.
Also, look at the used car section. It too has exploded, many people advertising for you to take over their payments.
Forget about buying real estate in ’07. 2007 is the year of buying used luxury items at wholesale prices from FB’s.
