I wanted to ask the experts out there what some of the major differences were between a broker and a realtor. I am thinking about studying to get a brokers on the side and debated whether or not to go for the salesperson (realtor?) license instead. I did this for 2 basic reasons:
1. to learn more about the RE industry, and
2. to hopefully save some money on any future RE transaction I am involved in.

What are your thought? Is it better to become a broker or salesperson?
