Is “taking care of your heart” eating clean or putting in a stent.
This isn’t a cheap thing. It’s an actual question. If we go zero sugar, is tooth decay halted? What actually causes tooth decay and are we just on a vicious cycle of eating wrong and saying, well, dentistry is how we live. We destroy our teeth and drill them, with shit getting way worse into old age.
That seems insane.
Alcohol is according to some holistic dentistry sites awful. We sit for hours bathing our teeth and gums with…sugar, swirling it in our mouths, letting it rest, perfect decay environment.
At this moment, I am committed to never ever putting another piece of bread, pasta, energy bar or any thing with sugar, other than fruit, which apparently might be ok in moderation. I think some nude sunbathing for high vit.bd levels may be essential too

Not really. There are people who I know that never took care of their teeth like my dad, and still have perfect no cavities. And there are people like my significant other that brush every day 3 times, floss, rinse etc, and still end up with a cavity and tooth decay. So it depends.
Coffee and tea stain teeth, and that’s stubborn to remove.
You definitely should get more than 1 opinion of one dentist suddenly says you need work. There are dentists that are chop shops that will push to get procedures you don’t need, not different then that shady mechanic that tells you need to change the blinker fluid.
I remember I cracked one of my wisdom tooth, and my old dentist wanted to do a crown, etc. And it was estimated to be $800. I was like, why don’t you just extract the wisdom tooth, since that’s what people do anyway. And he’s like, oh you can’t do that, because your bite will be off, yada yada yada. So I went to another dentist who told me that I should just extract the tooth. It was $150, and insurance paid for most of it.
