There’s a misconception about SPF rating on sunscreen. There’s a point above SPF50 where the extra SPF is marginal benefit at most. There’s very little difference between SPF50 versus anything higher. Companies charge a lot more for very marginal performance benefits and misleads people into thinking a higher SPF means they can be exposed to the sun a lot longer. Not true
