Christians that “get it” just want you to join their team, and you are always welcome to do so. You don’t even have to stop wincing (I kinda do it myself.)

We are supposed to be all about forgiveness. That’s the main point, actually the only point that matters. Everything else is really just details.

Historically so many Christians never got the point, or they got way too caught up in the details.

Today we aren’t much better. But a true Christian does not want you dead. Even though your people were complicit in the torture and unjust execution of God, it turns out he had a quick recovery, and is doing ok. We should let bygones be bygones.
