I’d consult an accountant or tax preparer..but last year I claimed the entire amount of the invoice. If it was part of the contracted price for the solar system then it qualified for the tax credit. In my case, this also included getting SDG&E to install a renewal meter adapter so I didn’t have to upgrade my electric panel.
