I get it. Liberals and Clinton voters are clearly much smarter than everyone else. By way of pure sophistry and using certain key words, like ‘science’ and ‘facts,’ without actually having any regard for them, liberals can claim to be not only morally but also intellectually superior. As someone trained in a scientific field of inquiry, I have always been taught to view humility and self-critique as the highest values, and smug arrogance as the opposite. If you want to call yourself the best, you are now anointed the best, in all respects. Can you stop now?
