I agree in terms of ways to self-express, mixing up norms is a way to get yourself noticed. Does it mean that all millenials are out there dressing drag to display their artistic side? I would say a very small percentage because once it becomes a part of popular culture it loses value. My sister dressed goth in middle school and older kids dressed like Boy George. A more serious factor is that the number of stay at home dads has doubled since the 70’s and even in duel income houses the female could be more qualified as the bread winner. This changes things more than fads. Females on combat ships?
