    as if the existing IO/NegAm and other exotic forms of lending haven’t caused enough of a mess already seems like there is no end to the greed of lenders:

    It’s not the greed of lenders, but the need of foreigners to invest all those surplus dollars. What else are they going to do with all those dollars?
