The Show RAISING HOPE, which my kid watches incessantly, is about happiness with lowered expectations. Son with kid lives with parents who live all together in demented great gramma’s house and watch her.. It’s a wildly funny comedy about Americans happy in relative poverty because, well, they’re close.
