Intrguing, do you have more information? Links, or chats with people you met while at SEH?
I recently walked through some model homes in Phoenix and compared what you can get new to what resales are available for the same price. From what I saw, the new homes are a better deal right now. There are lots of streets in new subdivisions where the builder has not even finished all the homes and there are four or five for sale signs.

I was at Palisades today too. I didn’t see any traffic. It was dead really.
San Diego Union Tribune Saturday Home section AD. As well as the builders trailer. Its the palisades project.
kind of discouraging, a builder built some condos across the street from me and over half are sold already. They are 2 bed 2.5 bath w/garage and parking space for 650k. They also have a view from the ocean.. you can probably get them for 600 I imagine.. in Pacific Beach. I’d say they were on the market for 2 months
Don’t worry unless you want to live at the beach as beach properties are a different animal. Everybody really does want to live there myself included. In 20 years after my kids are grown you will either find me there or my ashes floating in the ocean.
