Start with the salaries of the physicians. I can live with the high salaries for specialists. It’s the general physicians that I have issue with. Experience nurses and nurse practitioners can do exactly the same tasks, and just as well, as a gp do at a much lower cost.
According to this website, gp in the US makes close to 60% more than their counterparts in the U.K.
