Did anyone else hear about Limbaugh on the radio backpeddling? It was hysterically funny! says he didnt mean to mislead his listeners, but he knew his show was too important to the people and to the election so he couldnt say what he really thought.
He explains how difficult it was for him to come to work each day and try to explain the Congress’ latest moves when they couldnt explain anything well themselves. Then he takes a break suddenly because he cant find the right words… He starts by saying something like… “I wasn’t lying to you… I was… i was… I was… well I need to take a break and think of the right way to say this…….”
Ho ho ho ha ha ha hoo haa haa. I was laughing out loud!
Do you actually listen to Rush Limbaugh? I can’t stand him for very long.
I’m ashamed to admit that I used to work for a company what took a chance on him and advertized on his show when he was first getting started. At that time, he was having difficulty finding sponsors. Advertizing with Rush turned out to be very effective because his listeners are maniacs. Everything that Rush endorses is godsend to them.
He’s definitely not the brightest bulb in the room.
The conservatives are very good at badgering the liberals and 60’s freaks and pointing out their inconsistencies and hypocrisy, but not for much else.
They did at one time stand for fiscal restraint, but I guess all the “compassion” got in the way of that.
I’m glad that “compassionate conservatism” is a dead ideology. It was stillborn from the start and has been soundly rejected by the electorate.
I hope we get some Jimmy Carter clone in the White House in ’09, because the sh*t will really hit the fan in that decade. No more bubbles to inflate, deficit spending will be less of an option, Peak Oil will come home to roost with $150 per barrel oil, and the boomers will retire to trailer parks around the country and demand massive entitlement spending. A perfect economic storm if there ever was one.
