I’d personally never move to Bay Area unless I am a multi millionaire or I am sure I’d strike it big time.

Infact, I’d prefer any place other than san diego as I find san diego to be very expensive.

I can find job with similar salary in much cheaper place with less CoL along with no state income tax

I am here because my job situation is good and if I need to move out I am all game..
