Is there anyplace in San Diego that isn’t an anomoly?
FWIW – this apartment is/was/and will always be a dump that was adjacent to mission hills – but in old town. The seedy part of old town – south end, behind the touristic areas and freeway adjacent.
Not sure if this link will work – it’s a street view from below. The apartment in question is perched on the hill/cliff above the low rise apartments. It’s a 4 plex of small studios.
It will never be considered mission hills, hillcrest, uptown. It is not gentrified or chic… it is and was a dump…. but close to chic areas.
