For the past few years, I had been using a large paper clip for a wallet. Just carried my driver’s license, a credit card, and some cash. Found that I would keep forgetting things like the kids’ insurance cards when taking them to the doctor’s office, so had to carry those around all the time, just in case. Need the Barnes and Noble discount card, too, because we will be buying and reading paper books until they stop printing them. Also realized that I need the AAA card when I’m out and about. The darn stack that I was trying to keep to a nice minimalist size kept growing until the clip could no longer contain it, so I had to move to something similar to this:
