I think I knew about people getting married by 1st grade, since I was even at a family friend’s wedding. Thought it boring, liked the food 🙂

What’s the huge problem with kids learning that some men get married to men, some women get married to women? We’re not talking about the mechanics of the process or casting a moral judgement, just that such weddings happen sometimes.

If anything, the school would be casting more of a moral judgement by omitting information.
