Did you check the link I had on my last message?.. it is a DIY 3D printer.. and is quite doable.
It does work with plastic, primarily PET type plastics. Other people have built 3D ‘carving’ machines etc.[/quote]
Here’s 3-d systems consumer product. It’s fairly expensive and only does about 5″ by 5″ but bleeding edge technology usually comes down in price rather quickly.
