Well besides the location -location – location rule.
Back in the days when there was inflation and a house was a good investment
1950’s – 2005. there was always the buy as much house as you can possible afford rule, being that it would put you in a better position 10 or so years later due to inflation etc…
Also I think it’s funny that people think that were going to start suddenly building 500 to 1000 high rise downtown condo buildings for the next 100 million in population we are expecting to grow in the next 30 years.
Sprawl , get used to it, even in NY most people live out in the burbs and commute via train etc…
